did you get you 2ND letter by email or via mail? I am also from nepal and waiting for my second letter but i forgot which email id i mentioned on my forms?
Were you guys reading the rules and guidelines when you applied?
The KCC no longer sends DV packages via regular postal mail. All correspondence is done via e-mail and when your number is current you will be notified via e-mail to check your ESC (Entrant Status Check) and to follow the guidelines thereafter for DV selectees (the link is on the page which has your 2nd NL).

Read the rules and requirements on that link carefully because one wrong bit of information or documentation can be detrimental to your application for a DV visa.
Take the effort to read through the various threads/posts on this forum as there is extremely valuable information and guidance here for all those pursuing DV visas.
Get moving because if your number is current for August then technically you only have 6 to 7 weeks for your interview and you need to get all your civil documents together, police certificate(s), medical, finances in order before you go in for the interview.
Don't expect to get a DV visa with just the basic documents or simply being able to speak English. The reason many people get rejected is because their documents aren't in order or they don't have sufficient finances or do not meet the educational or work experience criteria under O*Net. Go to http://www.onetonline.org/ under the Find Occupations drop down menu and select job family and look for the job that relates to you. If you do not have a high school diploma or the satisfying work experience then forget about getting a DV visa because those are the two most important criteria besides the others.
Since I have a bit of free time today and am in a kind state of mind, I'll provide you with the basic steps (you guys should be doing this on your own because the serious applicants take this matter seriously and don't wait till the last minute!) as follows:
1) High School Diploma - must be equivalent to a US high school diploma i.e. Grade 12 or 13 depending on your education system. You MUST have the original and a copy of this when you attend your interview.
2) Work Experience - if you do not have a high school diploma you MUST have a minimum of 2 years work experience under the Department of Labour guidelines classified under O*Net in a qualifying field or occupation in Job Zone 4 or 5 with a rating of 7.0 or higher. You MUST have an affidavit or employment contract indicating this (original and a copy) for your interview.
3) Birth Certificate - you MUST have an original birth certificate and one copy for your interview.
4) Court & Prison Records - if you were convicted or had a court summons for any felony, you MUST provide the original of this document along with a copy at your interview.
5) Deportation Documentation - if you have been to the USA previously and overstayed on your visa beyond the 90 day visitor limit or were in the USA after your visa expired and were subsequently deported and have a deportation document/ruling, you MUST provide this document (original and a copy) at your interview.
6) Marriage Certificate - if you are married, you MUST provide a marriage certificate (original and copy) at your interview.
7) Marriage Termination/Annulment Document - if you are legally separated or divorced, you MUST provide an annulment certificate or divorce certificate (original and copy) at your interview.
8) Military Records - if you a member of the armed forces of your country you must provide evidence of this (original and copy) at your interview.
9) Police Certificate - go to the DV selectee link above to understand this properly because it is too much to type out for me.
10) Custody Documentation - if you have custody of a child then you MUST provide custody documentation (original and copy) - check the DV selectee link above for more information.
11) Medical Examination - if you have all the required documents and find yourself eligible for a DV visa you MUST schedule a medical examination after the receipt of your 2nd NL. The medical MUST be done by the local US Embassy appointed physician or hospital. You will then be given a sealed package (DO NOT OPEN THIS) after your medical examination to take with you to the interview. The examination costs between $200 to $500 depending on which country you are in and this includes your vaccinations.
12) Selectee Notification Letter - this is your 1st NL. You MUST have two copies of this. According to my readings one will be kept by the consular officer at the US Embassy and one by you.
13) 2nd NL - you MUST have two copies of this. According to my readings one will be kept by the consular officer at the US Embassy and one by you.
14) Translation - if your documents are not in English you MUST have them translated by a certified translator. There are certified translation companies or certified translators in all countries these days. Your best bet would be to have a lawyer do the translation for you and endorse the translation but this is not necessary and is only a personal preference for some.
15) Interview - at your interview you will need to pay the required non-refundable fee of $330. If your interview is successful the consular officer will inform you and tell you to come back on a certain date to pick up your passport. You will then have to go to the USCIS website link as follows to pay the immigrant fee. You cannot get a Green Card without paying this fee.

16) Interview (II) - if your interview has issues you will either be rejected or placed under Administrative Processing. If you go under Administrative Processing the US Embassy will most likely keep your passport until they have reviewed your case thoroughly. If your case is still under Administrative Processing after September 30th of the DV fiscal year then you're out of luck and you will not get a DV visa.

Work experience : i have a concern about my experience criteria, the jobs titles are vary from country to country, so my job title is xxxx officer, and its matching xxxx specialist @ O*Net, so do you think that this will be clear and intelligible to the interview officer ? and if my career title is not related to the O*Net jobs, so can i use my High School and University diploma for completion the acceptance requirement ?
My spouse High School certificate : unfortunately its missing, he have a copy of it. BUT he have also his university degree certificate, so is this ok ? can he show his university one and in this case no need for the high school original one ? or can his working experience considered instead of the education condition ? OR he don't need all of that because i am the DV winner and only me i have to match this kind of criteria ??
Sufficient finances : it's not mentioned any where in the rules and requirements, but i heard from many people that applicants have to show a bank statement showing that they have money to cover at least the 1st year expenses, so do you have any idea what is the minimum we need to present for 2 adults with 2 kids family?
Our Relative in US : in the forms that we sent earlier to KCC, we filled the selected address by giving my uncle address and we filled his name as the one who we know in US and lives there, at the interview did they will consider that he have to support us financially ? actually we will not ask him for that, we have our money, my uncle is US citizen and he is retired, he is welcoming us to stay with him at his big house until we find a suitable house to be rented by us.

For savings - look up US poverty guidelines for your family size. Mostly 125% of that seems to be the acceptable number. Bring bank statements and proof of any assets you can liquidate (shares, house etc) or at least have a list of them.

alright thanks..Can someone tell me what subject it will be for 2NL when KCC reply email? I guess it should be same for all. i might misplace my email. Because its been already 43 days, I havenot got any notification from KCC

don't worry dude....if u forget email id...no problem at all...you can check your 2nd letter just by going through official website:dvlottery.state.gov...and entering all your info you will get it...

If i have my documents in Hebrew (which is the official language here in Israel) do I still need to translate it to English?

If you are doing your interview in Israel the your documents in Hebrew would be acceptable. You only need a translation when your documents are not in English or the official language local to the consular office where you are being interviewed/processed.
DV 2014 : Queries
I am a lucky selectee for DV2014 and I have couple of queries .Can any one help me on this ground.
A)My case number is AS2014000060xx, when should I except my 2nd letter and interview.

Double congratulations to you then!
A. In DV2013 your number would have been current in April - so you would have got notified in late Feb/early March and been interviewed in April. You can expect DV2014 to be similar, although it might vary a little.
B. You can call them or email them - either way - the contact details are on your notification letter.
C. Since your baby will probably be born before the interview (and hopefully the notification. You can send an update to KCC with a 230 form for the child. Move fast to get birth certs etc and apply for a passport for the child immediately. Upon birth I would contact KCC and tell them of the baby even if you haven't yet got the passport/birth cert. Ideally they would have the 230 form before the 2NL - but if not, it can be sorted out. I would also (if I were you) contact the panel doctor to discuss what vaccinations can be done for the child prior to the interview. I'm sure the consulate and the doctor will work with you for the best outcome.
Well if your documents are in Hebrew then you should be alright but play safe and get them translated anyway.
Consular officers can be unpredictable (it's their job to be so) depending on how their day is going and you don't want to be in a situation where they ask you "why aren't these translated?"
Whereabouts in Israel are you applying from? I've got friends from Herzelia (I think that's how it's spelt) and Tel Aviv. Been to America before?

10X, I will have it translated.
I live in Rishon Lezion, not far from Tel Aviv (15 minuts drive).
The only consulate in israel which deals with immigrant visas it's the one located in Jerusalem.
Never been in America.. Although i have a nonimmigrant visa (which i never used).
