What address do people usually write to First Lady (Any special department handling immigration related letters ? ) and Ombudsman?

I addressed it to "office of the first lady" and found the white house address
from the white house website . Nothing really special. It took around 3 months
to get any response .

For Ombudsman

Do the following:

1. Go to the USCIS Ombudsman's site (http://www.dhs.gov/ximgtn/programs/editorial_0497.shtm) and fill out the DHS Form 7001.

2. Print it out.

3. Attach a cover letter explaining what your problem is and why you need the request expedited.

4. Attach copies of pending I-485.

5. Mail the form to the mailing address on the same page above.

Expect to hear from the Ombudsman in 10 days. And keep us all posted in this thread as to the outcome of your efforts.

Hi GCLingum,

Thanks for a very detailed response.I wanted to write to the First Lady regarding some other matter not related to my I-485 filing.

I asked for Ombudsman addresss just to know about it.Because when i was reading on this forum people writing to Ombudsman, I couldn't figure out the address.

My I-485 was filed in May/2007 based on May/2001 priority date labor(EB2) and TSC is still processing Aug/2006.
So, I can guess I have to hold off ON writing to officials for my I-485.
