What about State police Clearnace ?

I have got FBI clearance in three weeks of sending the finger print
form for staying more than 6 months in US. Do one need state police
clearence for staying more than six months in a particular state.

My case: Sent the Immigration application to Buffaloo centre on
          6th June,01. Awaiting for the file number.

Went to the local county court and they took the finger print on
a FBI card. Sent a 18$ Money order and with a letter indication
my details of stay in US to FBI.
