I have been with the same company for the last 3 yrs, but changed location after 2yrs. My first I-797 is from April 1st 2001 to March 31st 2004.
1. I have an three I-94s,
1. From the port of entry, when I entered the US on my H1-B that is valid from April 1st 2001 to March 31st 2004.
2.From the H1-B amendment approval notice (I-797) that I received due to the change of location from Raleigh, NC to Hillsboro, OR.
3.From the latest H1-B Extension approval notice that I received today.
I intend to get my H1-B visa stamp from the US consulate in Vancouver, Canada on Dec 5th 2003. Which of the above three I-94s should I turn in at the Port of exit?
2. Since my current I-797 does not expire until March 31 2004, why does the approval notice show valid dates of June 6th 2003 to May 31st 2004.
3. Since a H1-B can be valid for a total of 6 years, can we get another extension for 1 year (from June 31st 2006 to March 31st 2007) if need be?
4. Is it ok to have this overlap of 2 approval notices from June 6th 2003 to March 31st 2004?
Thanks
