'Wet signature' for TN letter

Hello all,

My TN is up for renewal. My employer sent me a scanned copy of the TN letter. Is a wet signature still required these days for TN submissions at airports?

Never has been an absolute must. The office can contact your sponsor if they are suspicious, so go during business hours.
 
Thanks for your reply. I've actually been sent back in the past and had to resubmit with the original hence my reservations. They also refused to contact my sponsor to confirm!
 
You might have come across a "character" / newbie officer! My TN letter was also the same as yours and was accepted without any issue.
 
I haven't had a wet signature support letter in 6+ years. Probably shouldn't be an issue. I believe border officers are coming around to the fact that documents can be emailed.
 
I had an issue with an officer not accepting a scanned/emailed copy of the TN letter a few years ago hence my concern.
