Welcome Notice

Question:

I was councelor processed on 3/12/09 and enter the US on 3/18/09 via LA as the POE. I haven't received any welcome notice yet. Would that be a problem? Plus I saw some people got their official form I-551 within 2 weeks in mail, do you guys know how long it usually takes to get it?

You will get it,sometime it takes even 3 weeks..did you receive your green card and ssn yet?
 
No I haven't gotten my green card yet. As for SSN, I got one when I was a student in the US long time ago . Having said that,I did go to the San office to get a replacement card which removes "employment under INS authorization." by showing my temporary I-551 on my passport.
