Welcome Notice after Suspension of Deportation

I received a suspension of deportation in 1982. I was told that I would be receiving a green card but they did not know when. I have waited and waited and havent heard anything? I admit i let the issue become dormant. Does anyone know what to expect if I call INS an inquire about my case? I dont think i ever received a Welcome Notice and my address has remained the same.

Wow, now that's a long time. Definitely talk to a lawyer before you go anywhere near it. If you're a latina then check with LULAC to see if they can provide you with any service.
