Welcome notice 6 mos after Approval... when did I become PR?

We received a notice of approval from Philly office and got our passports stamped I-551 in Jan...

I got a welcome notice today saying that my I-181 creation of record of lawful permanent residence was just approved.

Does that mean I just became LPR recently or was I LPR since the approval date on my passport stamp?

I know this sounds stupid, but we will be changing jobs soon and wanted to make sure it would not be a problem.

The date the I-485 was approved. The card should note that as well.
