Weird statement on I 94 when used AP, is this expected

My wife used the Advance Parole last time she entered the states.
The immigration officer stamp her I-94 with the following statement
“Paroled Pursuant To Sec. 212(d) (5) of the I&N act.
Paroled until 29 JUL 2008
Purpose AOS”

Does that mean that she will be out of status after July 30, 2008 !!!?
