Hey Guys
Very weird question, I have my asylum court on the 26th of July... the preparation is going great, blah blah blah... BUT I got a proposal from my bf - he is British... he cant stand States, so him moving here is out of question... so how can this work??
I know it doesnt sound that big of a deal... but I just dont know what to do...

He would either starts liking the good o'l USA or you can start the asylum all over again in the UK, whichever easier.

So now you are asking the board to make personal decisions for you? What do you like better:British BF or American life?

Hi Opell

Not that I like to play Operah or anything but you should really think about your situation here. He is only your BF and not your husband. Many times people split over some very trivial matters. What if you throw everything away that you have done so far here and go to UK with him and for whatevere reason things don't work out between the two of you? Where would that leave you? in deep doo doo, to be quite honest. I suggest you secure your life here and go on with your immigration journey. If he really loves you, he'll either stick around or simply has to wait until you get your blue passport. This is just my personal opinion off course.

Hey guys guys guys
I didnt ask for personal advice... The question was when we get married, does he have to move here, or (if hopefully I will get my asylum approved on the 26th) I can go for sometime to UK and for how long, can I apply for British Passport at the same time... My questions were in relation to STATUS and not a BF... and thats not personal, thats a normal question..

Well as a friend and older and wiser person ;-) I'd say do whatever you feel is best for you. What do you really want to do? Live here or go to the UK? If you've invested time and money into getting asylum here, wait for the decision to come through. If you get it, you can go still go visit and marry your bf and come back. What if you abandon your asylum petition, go there and then it doesn't work out? Choose wisely..

if i were you i would wait asylum decision . if it wouldnt work than i would go to UK ;) keep UK as a second option.
personally i love UK.especially british sence of humore. ppl dont know how to dress herelol
i think it is more complicated to be legalised in UK than US
