Weird Question about DV Lotto

Hi

I entered the 2008 DV lotto last year, My Dad also entered.

I entered on my own, Then My Dad Entered and due to the fact I'm under 21 I was also entered on my dads forum.

Is that a problem? Does it count as entering twice?

This is absolutely fine. It is not entering twice- since your Dad was the principal applicant on the second entry.
In fact, KCC recognizes and accepts entries from husband and wife, with each person claiming the other as a dependent.
In this forum for 2007, one couple won twice - a winning letter was sent to the husband and the wife also got a separate winning letter.
For 2008, another couple recently posted that husband and wife got 2 separate winning letters.

I guess I havn't won mine this year then, though I'm hoping with the law of attraction if I keep hoping, wanting and seeing the greencard in front of me I can still win this year.

i am the one who won the dv 2008 ,2 times with my spouse,but as u said there was simillar case in dv 2007...do u still remeber their id or name on this forum? i have some question wanna ask them if u remeber them!! thx.best wishes.:confused:
 
I can tell you, that it is possible that you both send back the forms to KCC.

But please be so kind, if everything is working well and you got the GC, inform the KCC to cancel the other case to give someone else a chance.

Husband & wife - DV2007 winners

My sister and her husband, both won DV2007 lottery.
I have some questions about the process. I keep getting auto replies to my e-mails to KCC, even after sending it with the phrase "Case Number" in the subject line (the auto-reply instructs you to do so if you're inquiring about your case).
Here are my questions:
1. Should we disregard the Notification letter with a greater number?
2. My brother-in-law is here on B2 visa which expires on October 5th. He wants to do AOS. Can he do AOS, and my sister with children - CP?
3. If he does AOS, at what point he would be considered to have a pending case, and not worry about getting out of status?
4. Would he need to extend his B2 visa?
