Weird Online Status:

Hi

I gave my fingerprints on 4th Jan'03 and till last week the online status was not updated. Surprisingly when I checked today I am getting the following messages:

"The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

Is any one has any Idea about this strange message?

Any feed back will be appreciated, I request all Please advise me ASAP

don't worry BCIS is undergoing data base change so that's the problem,In the mean time if you need to check the status call the 1-800 number

Same situation here

Hi,
My wife's status also had the same message. Called the 1-800 BCIS number and told the operator. She took the WAC number along with our names and date of birth plus double checked my address and said that she would send a query and they would respond in 3 weeks. In the meanwhile there is nothing to worry as you can check the status via the same 1-800.

Thank you very much PCHANDR . Great relief. I called 1-800 and nothing to worry. Sorry for late greetings (reply) because I was badly effected by ISABAL. No power, communication, etc..

I485 status and FP

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

We have determined that there was an insufficient payment for the fingerprint fee for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. On May 7, 2003 we sent you a notice of this, with an opportunity to submit the fee. Your case is being held in suspense until we receive your fingerprint fee. For more information, please refer to the notice we mailed you. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.



We havenot received the notices for our Finger Printing yet.I called the 800 number and got the same age old answer.."wait"///Could anyone please tell me if something is wrong here..The service Center encashed the checks and I also had my attorney send the copies of the same along with a letter.But still the status message says the same thin...
