About two months ago I had sent a letter to US Vice President mentioning the problems (delays etc) we are facing at TSC and requesting him for help to do something about these delays. I also attached a print out of the petition (at that time had 300+ signatures). On the bottom of the letter I had signed my name and address and said that this letter is on behalf of the folks who have signed this petition. A few weeks later I got a letter from his office saying that my letter has been forwarded to the USDOJ (the buck was passed).
Yesterday I got a reply from the National Customer Service Center saying that they could not verify my receipt # or Alien # so they could not help me for my specific case and that I should call the NCSC phone number with my SRC number to get a status update on my case.
I could not believe this crap. In the letter I had asked when would I-485’s for all of us folks will start moving again in TSC. I also had Khanna’s petition in the letter. And the reply was 180 degrees off the mark. I don’t know whether to call this as a calculated bluff or total idiocy. May be BCIS needs more funds to teach their employees how to read English.
Just to amuse myself I called NCSC and gave the letter reference number (which they had no clue of). So I gave my SRC number and the nice lady read the sentence what you see when you go to the status online and of course she had no clue about it TSC will start moving again or not.
BCIS again lives true to its name. Bullshit Called Immigration Services.
