I initaited the request on Jan 7 as well and today i got a letter with the same response as yours. I was hoping to get an FP. The letter was a disappointment.

got FP after case status inquiry

Afer initiating case status inquiry thru my lawyer, I got a letter from USCIS saying that my case has been forwarded to supervisor. Guess what, I got an FP notice in mail today. Its scheduled for March 1st. Iam planning to go for early FP. Anybody has early FP experience in Dallas? Can the derivitive applicant also do FP on my FP notice?

Hang in there folks. The supervisorseems to respond.

I made an enuiry on Jan 07 as my ND was 06 2002 and still not approved. Wesbite said a letter was posted on Januar 13 2005. Actual letter was posted on Jan 25 2002 and was received by me on Jan 27 2005 and says the following :

"Petition is still pending, a request has been forward to supervisor."

The online message said the letter was posted on Jan 18 for me. But it was actually posted on jan 25 and i too received it yesterday only with the same message. Looks like they don't post the letter on the date stated on the website. Did u already do you FP?

My online message did not change for FP sent...My LUD did change though.

My message seems to be funny.

My I-140 was approved on 1/20/2005 , with online message saying so from (1/19/2005 - 1/27/2005) and I also got approval letter from my lawyer. Today91/28/2005) the message changed saying they responded to the information requested by my lawyer and now it does not say it was approved.

Does that mean my case was not approved ,but it was a mistake to approve it or this is something to worry about.

they probably responded to the inquiry after they approved it, so they updated the status with the response. the same happned with my EAD, i have it in hand but the status changed from approved to we responded for request blah blah blah
pretty funny isnt it
