Hello everyone,

As mentioned many times, I e-filed my I-140 to TSC at the end of Feb, and updated to PP in the early March, and got a RFE on March 14. I am planning to reply the RFE and requesting for more supporting letters. However, just 20 mins ago, I got an e-mail fromr CRIS, it said my I-140 is APPROVED as the last processing action taken on my case. I then checked my USCIS account, the current status was changed from "requesting for futher evidence" to "Approval notice sent (on April 6)" today (Saturday). BUT I DID NOT REPLY THE RFE YET. The possible reason I think is:

(1) they didn't review my supporting materials when they sent me the RFE AT ALL, maybe due to the delay of delivery of my supporting materials or just lost in their mail room, as many of you mentioned here. That's why they mailed me a generic RFE. And now they just noticed this and reviewed my stuff.

(2) a fake approval again? (Hopefully not)

Anyone has similar experience?

Anyway, we pray, while the USCIS guys play.
 
I really hope that it is an approval email. Since it comes from CRIS, it sounds an official approval email for me.

It is really interesting that USCIS people are working overtime this weekend. I think this is a good news for all of us waiting ;)
 
Actually, the previous e-mail from CRIS requesting for further evidence was also e-mailed out on a saturday (March 14). So, I think it's a real approval, too. :) Let me wait, if I can receive the paper approval within next week, then it's really true. Am I right, guys?
 
Yes, I am quite confident that this is a legitimate email. So the email was sent today Saturday April 7th yes, not April 6th?
 
I am sure is teh approval, if the status online changed it means is the actuall approval! hey CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D enjoy
 
Yes, JerIst, the e-mail was sent out today (saturday), but the content said the approval was sent out yesterday (April 6).
 
Thanks, guys. Hopefully I'm not being played with them. If so, A lot of guys here should be encouraged, as seems many guys here have very strong background, while I don't even have a nature or science paper. Cheers, guys!
 
Congrats wlg....

I think the next day (saturday) LUD is automatic. My case was approved 04/05 (I got CRIS email the 10 PM of 04/05) and next LUD was 04/06. Perhaps, it is all approvals of previous day being printed automatically even when it is a weekend and hence the LUD.

I am waiting for the paper approval too before I can rest....:)
 
It's an approval - it happened to me too!!!

Because usps took almost two weeks to deliver my supporting materials (bad luck). I got a gen ref. After they received my supporting materials, they sent me an approval notice. It's understandable - after you upgraded to pp, they only had 15 days. If they waited a long time for your SM, then they had to send a ref.
