Looks like we missed the approval train again, we were hoping lot from June , nothing happened.

looks like We are going to stuck in retro # 2 for long time.

It is Crazy

It is like living with mental people.. with USCIS process and procedures..

They are not any where near to ISO standards.. :-)) first they need to do some work on doing things centrally and do things in better way.

It is like banging heads on a wall..

I cant think of any thing else to tell to this.. crazyness..

NOT only Crazy but blind too...

Looks like we missed the approval train too...
Here is my experience talking to Stupid and Pathetic IO's.

Infopass Appointment-1 : 06/08/07.. SIR YOUR NAME CHECK IS COMPLETE AS OF 04/27/2007. CASE IS WAITING TO BE ASSIGNED TO THE OFFICER.

06/20/07.. DID CALL UP TSC... SIR NAME CHECK IS PENDING, SO WE CANNOT PROCEED WITH YOUR CASE.

06/29/2007. Infopass Appointment2..SIR YOUR CASE IS IN TSC   .. TRANSIT TO OFFICER.. oh.. BUT NAME CHECK IS PENDING...

My next question: IS THEIR ANY PROBLEM WITH MY NAME MAM?
IO REPLY : YOU SHOULD BE CLEARED WITHIN 12 WEEKS, IF THEY FIND MATCH WITH YOUR NAME, THEN THEY GOT TO DO MANUAL CHECK, THAT WILL TAKE LONG TIME.

My question: MAM, if my name is matching with other names, don't you think quick investigation is required? I am waiting from Aug 2004..

IO REPLY : SORRY SIR. I HAVE NO ANSWER. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS?

So basically they have no clue , what they are doing.. its fish market :) :)....

though...

...after seeing how much my mind has been on the GC process since my PD became current, checking for LUD, checking this website etc so many times a day, maybe this is an opportunity to get back to living normal lives till this circus starts again...

Just trying to see the silver lining here

tonight i do not have any words to express my disappointment.:(

re: silver lining ...

You are right istrategist! It's important to see the silverlining.

My case started in mid 2001 as EB2 and look where I am after 6 years (yes, now I am in EB3 now - and more importantly I never changed the job and ofcourse i-485 not yet approved.) Some of my colleagues that filed with me got approved in 2002!

I personally admire those people who are not too affected by this GC process but I guess there is a 'threshold' after which none can be that patient. (I hope that's why I have been so restless since last month when the PD's became current and people are getting approved left and right. For the first time I started believing that soon I also will have the GC)

I think it's better to go back to business as usual about our life and work because until you see the GC in your hand, you are as far from it as from the day you filed i-485.

Cheer up folks, it's not the end of the world (it's close but not is! )

Carry on with Life

I am in the same position and can understand your disappointment and frustatation. However, guess we have to carry on with our lives just like before June bulletin was published. We have lot of folks available on this forum to support each other so lets just carry on with life and be thankful for the good things we have....

Did we miss the train?

When I saw a LUD on 6/28/07, I thought this might be the approval. I did not receive the magic email the 2nd day... then I know I might have missed the train.

I now hope that the 6/28 LUD (quite some people got LUDs on 6/27, 6/28) are the preselection for visa number allotment, and expect 485 approval in July. From reading a few posts here, it may just be the case.

By the way, I received a letter from FBI dated 5/31 that the name check is "in process". It is possible that the LUD is a good sign that name check got cleared.

Anyway it is a disppointment not to receive the approval in the past couple of days... but maybe USCIS is still high on approving the aged 485s and will continue this through the end of July.

I will be moving to a new address in 2 weeks, after all settle down, I will start a letter/email campain to congress, senate, public officials to make them known one more unhappy applicant.

I take it calmly because I long realize that the immigration system is designed to screw the Chinese and Indian talents... trust me it is by design unless you are lucky. Just contemplate what else that we can take to get back to those bastards besides tax avoidance....

Happy Saturday.

We missed train again.. !!!! Is there a hope in July

Guys,

I dont know if there is any Lady as Primary applicant in this forum. I'm preganant and in my 8th month now. When we got PD current I was in my 7th month.. no one can imagine the frustration and sleepless nights I'm going through from May\June.. I'm trying to calm down and praying god. But, this much of waiting with stressful life .. I'm going mad and getting afraid I will get my contractions before time. Me and my husband wating from last ten years for our Gc.. Arrived to US in 97.

waiting for approval..

I called up IO at TSC on Thursday (June 28) and I was told that my file is now assigned to an officer and I should see some movement in 2-3 days. And now if we miss the approval train after being so close then it's going to hurt. A flash update today at Murthy.com says that DOS might retrogress dates in July to clear the old pending cases (?) and to take advantage of fees increase which take into effect from July 27 but the bottom line is that as long as I am in the race to get my GC in July, I am fine else it's going to be another long wait.

You should email your feeling to congress and senate

Look what the immigration system has done to you and your unborn baby! Remember throught the whole process there is no fault on your part, it is purely normal luck (as opposed to good luck) and the design of the immigration system.

Name check is full of shit... and everyone knows it, but nobody wants to fix it. I contacted the Ombudsman's office, who is fully aware of the problem and unafraid to point it out in his report, to propose some solutions.

Guess what? when people get the GC (or even the magic email), they forgot all the pain and suffering.
