We have yet to take our honeymoon. Problem at interview?

We just had a civil wedding about 2 months ago. We have not yet taken our honeymoon, because we are saving money to buy a house. Is this going to be a problem for my wife's GC application? What should we say at the interview if asked about our honeymoon?
 
Just say what you just said here. I am sure that lots of people are in the same situation as you are. A honeymoon is a luxury and hardly a requirement for a green card. Relax :)
 
We didn't have our honeymoon yet either, and our big reception is gonna be way after our interview.
I really don't think you have to be concerned about that at all!

Tell the truth. We didn't have any honeymoon either, but went to Hawaii almost 2 years after our City Hall wedding, 3 weeks before the interview...
Honeymoon is not a mandatory, it is compeletely optional
:)
So don't worry, nobody is going to give you a hard time...
 
Ours is going to be in my country after our traditional wedding which will be in December.

We intend to include the pictures & other documents in our removal of condition later


Cheer up :D I have been reading lots of interview experience and come to the conclusion that what the officer is really after is that your marriage is really, honeymoon & wedding receptions are not a most to get the GC.

It's almost my 3rd anniv. and we are so far didn't go for honey moon yet, I want to tell the immigration officer that we're so damn stick on this land to wait for a GC.
 
It makes me feel better that so many people are in this same situation. I am also having my big wedding and reception at home this December...WAY after the interview. We only had our civil/legal wedding here before applying for my PR.
If it is this many in this forum, imagine how many immigrants that go to the interview are going through the same situation. Meaning that, the officers are probably used to it and don't think there's anything weird with that.

Absolutely! In addition, no everyone can afford a big wedding or a honeymoon.
