I am just coming out of Infopass, cant say it was very helpful. The lady wasnt very helpful. The lady told me my case is "Under Review"

"How long?" "Sir. its under review"

Security Check cleared? She spent a minute on the computer and said "All cleared" its under review

Actually, that is a good sign and the most anyone can get out of an officer. Under review should mean an officer has been assigned your case and nothing else is pending.

It would be unfair to expect more. I know you wanted to hear an answer like this: Sir, your case is number 13 in the pile assigned to Mrs. X and she is currently working on number 4 and takes an average of 18 minutes on each file if you include lunch and bathroom breaks, so at exactly 4:12pm you should check your email ;)

if you did this infopass at Newark, then its the best result you could have got from them . :)

Hahahaha!! Funny.

I can tell it is all on the officer you talk to. I had good and bad experiences. Usually women do not reveal much. where as the guy officer I talked to today said, your case is all clear and the officer working on your case is on vacation once she is back she will send out the Approval letter.

I spoke to one lady officer yesterday. She did not let me ask a single question as well. She said "Sir. Wait let me bring up your case." then after she brought up my case, What ever I ask. She said "Sir. If we need anything the assigned officer will let you know." When I asked if NC is done. "Sir. If it is required they will send it again."

Funny :) :)

You should've said "Ma'am, the computer is probably there for a reason. You should try using it sometimes...I hear its very useful to look up stuff about you know -specific- details about cases."

Called TSC today and they said that my case has been assigned to an officer for 'review'.

Hope it's a good sign...

Well, You all crack me up. Thanks for a good laugh though, afterall TGIF.

I will keep you updates if I hear anything

gc4chip.,

It is good u got information about your case.

But I'am so unlucky that each time I called today the lady use to say "What I'am doing is case status enquiry , and I should call NSC for that" literally all 3 times I got this response.
Please tell us the trick how you start conversation to get the info.. now I have started thinking I'am doing something wrong.

Please let me know.

i agree with babyluck..
i have no idea how come tsc people talk to others using the poj trick because i've called a number of times, waited 20-30 minutes onlly to be told to contact the main uscis number and start status enquiry.. no one at tsc is willing to disclose any info..

may be it works out if a woman calls and a guy rep. picks up the phone :)
