Was anyone approved recently who did not attach Paystubs?

There are number of RFEs where W2 and Pay stubs have been asked - Is RFE a 100% when Pay stubs are not attached with original 485 Application or is it that it still is luck factor afterwards - some people got approval without RFE even when they did not attach pay stubs?

Yes, my lawyer did not attach pay stubs and I\'m terrified at the prospect of RFE and associated delay!!!

paystubs not needed. got approved a week ago . no paystubs or any other docs attached to my application. no RFE.

Asked my lawyer about this

when filing for my 485 he said pay stubs or w2 are not needed when filing.
 
RFE related to W2 and Paystub depends on IIO

I have a colleage with the same lawyer and same company ( more or less same knid of job). She did not get RFE and approved. I got RFE for W2 and just got approved.

First of all congratulations on your approval

I too think that it depends on the IIO and your luck..

Still... wondering if you had done FP early and ur colleague did not.

Could you provide details of ur RFE please? such as when it was replied and when the AVM got updated and when it was approved.

I did my FP as scheduled and my colleage did her FP one month and half later.

RFE reply: 10/01/01
RFE updated 10/09/01
AVM update for approval : 11/02/01
Actual Approval date: 10/27/01, based on the AVM

Guys, A few people (including me), believe that the recent
spate of RFE\'s are very much due to older priority dates.

Remember, you can\'t file your I485 till your priority date
becomes current, which could take a long while. So the INS
figures, these guys have a greater chance of changing jobs,
hence they ask for W2\'s and pay stubs.
