Warning on Advance parole

Thanks

I used to think that you only need to have AP approved before you go back to US... And I think someone probably have taken this as given as I do.

According to this Document we have to get it before leaving from US even though we don't need to show this to anyone at time of departure...

Thanks, OP.

The reminder mentions about 'Certain Immigrants' in th memo.
It also asks 'all immigrants' to contact ....etc.
What is the applicability.
Reg.H1B holders,
The Link(which is availablesince long at USCIS site):
http://uscis.gov/graphics/shared/howdoi/h1b.htm;
'Can an H-1B alien intend to immigrate permanently to the U.S.?

Yes. An H-1B alien can be the beneficiary of an immigrant visa petition, apply for adjustment of status, or take other steps toward Lawful Permanent Resident status without affecting H-1B status. This is known as "dual intent" and has been recognized in the immigration law since passage of the Immigration Act of 1990.

@@ During the time that the application for LPR status is pending, an alien may travel on his or her H-1B visa rather than obtaining advance parole or requesting other advance permission from the Immigration to return to the U.S@@.'

I tried to read that document and the link does not work for me. I tried many times. Could you please let me know what this document says?

I know that one should file for AP while in US and get AP in US before departure from US.
If one has H1B visa stamp then one can enter on H1b status or can use AP
Did that site has any new info that I should know because my AOS has been filed I have H1b visa stamp and also approved AP in hand and I am going to enter with H1 Visa after my trip that I may take in December.
Thanks in advance

Link not working

Seems it is not working for some times.
It is FAQ on H1B.
Alternatively,
You may try,Go to USCIS.Gov,
then search Term:FAQ H1B.
You will likely to find this in the result list.

Here,it's not allowing to paste the total info'.
