wanted to travel

hi everyone
i am doing my 1st year of waiver, applied for NIW to get AP to travel to my home country pakistan..... i just approved that now my question is which is the better way to travel.... try to stamp my visa or simply use AP.... i have very common muslim name so chances are there to stuck in name check.... any one have any experience to face problem in using AP? THANKS

u are not allowed to use AP for travelling in the first 3yrs of waiver job. If u use AP u will loose ur h1B status and hence ur GC.
To get ur GC u need to spend 3 yrs on H1B.
Please check with ur lawyer if am wrong, but thats the info I have.

u can enter on AP but can still use h1 work authorization with the same employer.( CRONIN MEMO )

thanks for ur replies guys.....u mean to say i am allowed to use AP and after using this my H1 will still be valid.....

your status will change to parolee but you can continue to work with the same H employer in the same job and in fact you can also extend your h and the new I 94 will be h
