Want to apply for Citizenship - question about age when entered US

Hi:
I have lived in the US since 1995, first as a student then employment visa then green card. I was 22 years old when I first arrived in the US.

I got my green card back in 2002 and procrastinated in applying for citizenship. I want to do that now.

My question is: what forms do I need to fill out. I heard there's an additional step for me because I entered the US at a young age and I never registered for military service? Is that correct?

Can somebody fill me in on what I need to do?

Thanks.

Read N-400 form. Read Part 10 Question 33.

You should answer Yes to Q 33 and attached an explanation why you did not register. You just explain you did not even know you were reuqired to register. I don't think it will be a big problem.

You were already over 26 when you got your green card, and before that you were in the US with nonimmigrant visas (unless you remained in the US after any of them lapsed), so you were not required to register.

And even if you were required to register, you are over 31 now so it is largely irrelevant.
