Walk-in ED Renewals

I was reading one of the threads saying in Boston people can just walk in to the local service center and renew the EAD. Is that true for Houston too? Does anyone has any knowledge about this?

i donot know about Boston but in 1/02 TSC had a waiting time of 3 months for EAD renewal. Memphis office would only entertain you if 90 days had elapsed from the time of applying, my wife is in NY , when she went for interim EAD they told her to go back to the Service Center her papers were in as thay could not access those records there.

Yes. I got mine and wife\'s EAD renewed in Boston Local INS office. Mine took 10days (as there was a lot of rush on that day) and my wife got on the same day. My I485 is pending at TSC. Rd 4/25/01
