Walk In Ead Renewal At Boston ???

Does any one know if Boston INS is allowing walk-in EAD renewals NOW ? I heard that from March 2003 they changed the policy and is no longer issuing walk-in EADs , either first time or renewals.

But I do see postings regarding walk-in EADs at some other INS offices...
 
The following handout is being given at the Boston INS Office.




IMPORTANT NOTICE

Effective Wednesday, February 05,2003, the INS Boston District Office will no longer accept applications for employment authorization and advance parole if your application for adjustment of status is not pending at the Boston office.

Due to procedural changes mandated by INS Headquarters, we will no longer be able to process your applications for employment (Form I- 765) and travel (Form 1-131.)

You will need to mail your application to the INS Service Center processing your application for permanent residence.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
 
I-EAD at Boston - Help

Hey

Is this true. Boston office is not giving any I- EADS anymore. I need to get one urgently. I live in Ct but Hartford local office is not giving I- EADs till 120 days and then to will take time. Please help - as I was planning to go for I-EAD to Boston
