Walk-in AP at Newark,NJ

Does any one have experience of getting AP/Walk-in AP at Newark, NJ....

How they do it...?
Any RULE....?
Pls reply.....
 
I went there in April to get emergency AP for business trip in Europe. I took all necessary docs including letter from my employer for the trip purpose. After waiting about 3 hours I have been informed that unless it is extreme emergency or business loss I have to mail the application which might take about a week to get response. The lady I corresponded with was rude. She did not let me ask her any questions. I missed the trip and it took about 5 months to get my AP from VC.

went to newark service center at 8 am for emergency AP (family emergency). Took my EAC number for AP at VSC, 485 recipt and doctors note. The lady interviewed me for 45 mins and approved the emergency AP. Got the AP by 12 pm. Hope this helps.

That means you've filed your AP at VSC first...then went to NEWARK....

yes, i filed first in VSC and then went to Newark SC. You don't need an appt to go to the Newark service center (i did not get one). BUt ot be on the safe side get one, so that they don't use that as an excuse. Typically around 11pm or midnight they open a few slots for the next day. Hope this helps.
