Walk-in 2nd FP in Elizabeth nj

just recieved mail from USCIS saying that FBI could not process my prints and that I have to do a 2nd FP on 8/14.
Anybody done walk-in 2nd FP in Elizabeth NJ on a thrusday afternoon or friday morning?
I plan to do it this week.

6/29/09: FP notice received (I-797C)
7/16/09: FP appointment - done
7/22/09: received mail from USCIS - request for 2nd FP
 
I have done FP on Thursday afternoon. They will take you in but don't be late because they close at 4 so try to reach there before 3.

Also, don't go on a Tuesday since that is their busiest day.

I probably can't make it this afternoon coz of work, hopefully it's going to be tomorrow (friday) morning.
I just found out that my 2nd FP is actually scheduled on 8/15 (saturday). is the center open on saturdays?

Yup, and also note that the options on the bottom of the FP notice for rescheduling says Wednesday or Saturday. My guess is they keep both of those days pretty open to slot in reschedules so it might be a good idea to try one of those.
 
I was able to do a walk-in for my 2nd FP this morning. The receptionist wouldn't let me in at first but I told him I'll be out of town (work related) on the original date. He then ask me for the plane ticket but I told him I'll be driving. I had to wait though until the queue for the guys that were scheduled today cleared up. took me a couple of hours but I'm just glad it's done. Such a waste of time. Hope it will be good this time.
