Walk down the Peace Bridge to renew TN?

Hi, currently residing in US and trying to renew my TN at Peace Bridge.

Is it possible to walk down the peace bridge and turn back (flag pole) to renew my TN? Or do I have to cross the border by car only for visa renewals?
 
I'm curious about this as well.
Is crossing into Canada, turning around, getting a new TN status possible at this time?

Or maybe later in June (after the 21st) when the restrictions are set to expire?

Did this last weekend and worked. Walked across the bridge, made an u-turn, and then re-entered U.S. border. Took about 30 minutes. Peace Bridge is open for pedestrians & bicycles.

They take appointments so you should give them a call.

Did you "enter" Canada by clearing Canadian customs? Or was that not needed?
