GC and Visas are privileges and not a right.
The need should come from corporate America … that will force the senator and congressman to open a debate on the immigration. So it should be our employer who should be calling the senators etc and make there point...

So it is better that we urge our employer to help us out of this.

The 7% limit on each country does put large populated countries like India and Mainland China into lot of disadvantage ... But raising the limit to say 10% will have a marginal impact ... as there is huge surge of family based and dependents applications .

Removing the country based quota is only the way to go and there should be an approval from senate and house to do so... and with the new Guest Worker program on the anvil ... looks difficult this to happen this year.

Moreover I think -- the only logic to push the EB3 to such a date -- suggest that there are few visa numbers availiable to India/Mainland China ( out of 25620) and few availiable in EB3 too ( out of 42500). May be most of the alloted visa number for this year is already consumed by guys who's 485 was approved and waiting for a visa number .. So I think there will be good number of 485 approvals soon ... the lucky ones ... for others .. its easily a year of wait time --- if not more...
