Waiving one year wait for GC

Hi,
I was approved for political assylum in September, but I was in US for 5 years before that on F1 student visa, I was wondering if there is a way I can fill my I485 form earlier than next September.

No! U have to wait 1 year from the date of ur asylum approval to file ur form I-48. This is regardless of ur previous immigration/visa status.

Patience my friend! I would have been a citizen by now. I was granted asylum eleven years after I came to this country
