Hey hardon, J-1 victum and other GURUS
I have been working at MUA/HPSA. We are two internist. Both on J-1 Waiver job. My employer feels that there is not enough work for two MDs - which could be the case - and he is planning to cotract with a local correction center for one full time equivalent(FTE) position where two of us can rotate in addition to working at our facility (Combine total 40hrs/week).
I understand that the waiver is very specific for the location. He feels that since the correction center is in the same town (and the fact that it is a correction center job) his plan is legal and he does not need to consult/inform anyone. Is he correct?
(Please note that this is not a seperate job and there is no issue of concurrent H1B).
