I am getting wary waiting on my 140 redo due to 485 RFE. I know lot of ppl are on the same boat.

Can someone please explain the CSC 140 JIT report ?

Ok I guess this is what it means:
I-140 Breakdown:
A=E1-1: First Preference Extraoridnary Ability Worker
B=E1-2: First Preference Outstanding Professor or Researcher
C=E1-3: First Preference Multinational Executive or Manager
D=E2-1: Second Preference Advance Degree or Exceptional Aibility Worker
E=E31, E32: Third Preference Skilled Workers/Professionals
F=Hong Kong
G=EW-3: Third Preference Unskilled Worker

Hey, Bacard151,

I think if you are an EB3 you belong to the fourth category, which is I-140E, actually you are relatively lucky as it\'s the category that has been processed fastest(2/2/01). An EB2 normally falls into I-140D and that\'s where I am.(12/28/00!!)

I heard from my lawyer that if your Priority Date is recent then INS will process the petition sooner. As redoers I really hope so. But other folks posted message on this board earlier saying that a redo is no difference from a new I-140, if that\'s true we need to wait for months!!

Well, get caught in traffic again, I guess.

Please keep your status posted. My I-140 RD is in March, so I guess I won\'t see anything until you have some good news?

My amended I-140 was filed in July\'2000 (same time as my I485 filing). I got a RFE for my I140 in Feb 2001. The RFE complains about the job in the amended I140 being different from the one shown in LCA. So now I have a RFE for I485 as well as for I140. This whole situation is so messy !!

Received RFE for my I-485 (12/30/2001) and our company lawyer files my I-140 redo and here\'s my information regarding my I-140 redo (due to company merger/spin off):

RD : 01/20/2001
ND : 02/20/2001
AD : 03/12/2001
Service Center : CSC

Hoping that you\'ll get your I-140 redo approve soon. Waiting for the I-485 approval....

Hi, Waiting_Man,

After you amended I-140\'s approved, did you get an approval notice from INS? Did you mail the notice to INS where process your I485 RFE? Or the approval is automatically passed on to the agent processes your I485 RFE? Is there any changes in the AVM?

I received the I-140 approval from my lawyer (Xerox copy). To make sure that my I-140 was approved, I checked the AVM and it did say that my I-140 was approved. With regards to my I-485, I\'m not sure how the process works with the RFE (amended I-140), but with the experience of my other colleages, after three (3) weeks of receiving the approval notice for the amended I-140, their I-485 (with RFE also for amended I-140) was approved. So I\'m hoping that should be the same with my case, but you\'ll never know with the INS. I even heard that some of my officemates in the same consulting company got their I-485 approved after one week of receiving their amended I-140. Our case really depends on the officer who\'s handling our case.

My I-140 is EB-3.

Thanks for the Update, appreciate it. Mine case is EB-2 so I guess it\'s taking longer as I-140 for EB2 is only at 12/28/00.

Mine is EB3 WAC-01-097-xxxxx and CSC is stuck at WAC-01-094-xxxx. Well thats been my story with CSC so far. They just do not want t process my case !!!!!
