Waiting Time under F2A????

I filed a petition for my spouse with my permanent resident card in 20 June 2007.
Do you know how long does the NVC issue my spouse's visa number from the day that i filed for her?

Priority Dates can be found in the current visa bulletin. For the most part, F2A looks like PDs of July 2002, except Nov 2001 for people from Mexico.

I was told that If you HAD a lawyer, I CAN BRING my wife under F2A (Spouse of US permanent Resident) during 1 year, is it true?
Do I have to have LAWYER?

Lawyers are not used by most people in this forum. Only in complicated scenarios is recommended t he use of a lawyer.

Having or not having a lawyer does not change you eligibility or priority for sponsoring someone. Fundamentally there is no way for a GC holder to speed up sponsoring a spouse, except by becoming a USC and upgrading their petition.
