Waiting since Sep 03 !!!

Guys/Gurus ... if anyone can shed some light on this ... please!

Applied I-485 only in May 2003
Applied for EAD/AP in Sep 2003 ...
RFE issued for EAD/AP applications in Feb 04
Responded immediately and they received it.
The online status still says: 60-90 days ...
Still nothing ...

Called in May 04 ... after 90 days since Feb 04
Started status inquiry ... nothing in 3-4 weeks
Called again last week ... started another inquiry

Talked to an BCIS officer today ... he basically gave me nothing new other than what I see online already. He says according to what he sees, there is nothing wrong with the case, but as he is not the officer processing, he isn't sure why nothing happenned since RFE replies

He asked me to wait till the result of the 2nd status inquiry and then to call back again so that they can take the "next step". I asked what is the next step? He said they'll add notation to the 3rd :confused: inquiry that I have been waiting so that the concerned officer takes notice.

The whole customer service center thing is bogus :mad:

I have the same problem. Mine is pending since oct 17 2003. No rfe.
My iead will expire in july. I hope it will be approved by then. They may not give me the second iead.
This sucks!!

------NCSC is BS they are just contractors and again we will have direct phone lines to service centres end of september 2004 this will end the BS of NCSC

----- 1-800 you dont meet immigration officer and they dont have immigration knowelegde they are just contractors and cant look in to USCIS computer for your records. 2 nd tier is officer who knows something about immigration.

----- you should write directly to service center with your EAD filing reciept copy and write that your EAD is pending sionce .... and you spoke to NCSC 3 times nothing happend, send the letter by certified mail AND out side the envelope write in BIG bold letters FORM -I-765 for EAD pending since..... No update till date..... Asked NCSC 3 times no Reply from service center.
*** also go to your congressman or senator office and let them also go for inquiry. you will get the results.

If its any consolation...
I applied for I-485/EAD/AP for myself and my daughter on 30th Oct 2003 as derivative beneficiaries of my spouse's approved I-140. On April 12 I got RFE for clear photo and sent it off in 5 days. I got my card and AP on 06/12/2004. My daughter got RFE on May 12 for exactly the same reason, photo id. We sent it off in <5 days. But nothing so far. My point is that for the applications that went in the same packet, there was a 1 month difference in processing time with respect to RFE!!

Pending EADs

My EAD is also pending since 12-03-2004 and yet to have an approval. This 06-08-2004 UCIS is kind enough to inform me by sending a letter that they are working on it and they will be taking a decision shortly on my case. I do not know whether they sent me a good news or warning!

They are not even that KIND to me! I have requested the second inquiry still no response :mad:

By the end of this greencard mess, I will have a patience of a saint!!
 
My EAD/AP pending since 12/10/2003 as well. No news, no updates. Interim EAD denied saying I-140 is "on hold" but there have been no RFEs till date. Painful wait..

you mean 12/10/03 not 12/10/04. Did you get an interim EAD from your local office? did you call customer service up?
 
Yes - sorry for the typo (I've corrected it). I tried to get an interim EAD but they denied saying I-140 is on hold. My laweyer agreed that without an RFE they should have really issued the interim EAD, but I guess there's no reasoning with BCIS :(
