waiting since 1999

my receipt date is 15th March 1999. Have not heard from INS for I-485 approval.Can anyone suggest what i should do. My lawyer has sent fax 3 times but no response still. I called INS , all they say is fax us yr inquiry.

Is there anyone else waiting too. Any info would help. THX a bunch!
 
Maybe call national customer service center

I called them once, they said they could only take some action
after 2 years\' of pending.

Or you could try local congressman, your case is pretty strong.

U\'ve got company if that consoles you

I am on the same boat (RD/ND Aug 00) along with a few others on this msg. board. I called the II0 three times and was treated very courteously. However, the end result of those calls has been a big ZERO. Calling an IIO is like calling a automated voice msg. system, unless its for an address change. Good luck to you and wish me the same.
