I have filed i130 after marriage to a green card holder.

What is waiting Period for spouse of a permanent residence
Visa Bulletin shows month status but how long it generally takes?

From what I heard from my friends, it is 5-7 years because you listed under a different category, which has the number of approved cases capped annually.
You might want to wait until he/she gets the citizenship before filing the form.
