thank you very much for the details. I called FBI for FP check according to the number you provided. Both mine and my spouse's FP check were send back to VSC the same day.

I also got email from FBI last weekend regarding the name check. To my surprise, I was told they never got any request from VSC regarding name check, so they can't tell me if it's cleared. What that suppose to mean? I don't know the status of my spouse's name check yet. I don't know what else I can do except wait.

YOu better contact your congreeman saying USCIS did not send your Name Check request to FBI and say USICS should have sent that request 2 years ago. And say this is delaying your process. Send a copy of FBI responce.

If you have a congressman letter format better send ASAP. That may trigger your Name check.

also normally people contact congressman or his office?
