Waiting for the Physical Card

I have been waiting for my Green Card for more than 6 months now. I got my GC approved on 04/27 and got my passport stamped in Charlotte, NC on 5/12. After repeated enquiries to CSC, I finally got a response saying they don't have any record of my ADIT processing and CSC asked me to go to Charlotte and do the processing. I have two options now:

1) Go to Charlotte and request for another stamp (ADIT processing). My gut feeling is that I will be refused as I already have a valid stamp in my passport.

2) Don't do anything and let my stamp expire in May next year and then go to Charlotte again for stamping.

Any inputs from experiences or otherwise will be appreciated.

I am in the same boat. Posted details in the following thread. Not much Response on this from any Guru's.

I had read one of the post that said, fill up some form and that might result in ordering a new card. But I can't find that post any more.
If anyone finds it , please post in this thread. We can try our luck.
