Waiting for interview

I filed my I-485 (adjustment of status) on employment basis with Vermont Service Center in March 2003. My file was transferred on October 27, 2004 to Washington DC office for the scheduling of an interview.

I am still waiting for my interview letter. Can anybody give me some idea about the time frame it normally takes for the Washington DC office to schedule an interview or anybody can share their experience with me.

ours is also similar situation. we filed in june 2003 and transferred to dc in october 2004. If you get an answer about this question, please let me too know
