waiting for I-485 approval for more than an year

Hi all:

I am waiting for my I-485 to be approved for more than an year.
I am wondering what i can do? What i should do?
What are my options? I am tired of this waiting and
 want to do something.

Please give any suggestions you may have.

INS is working, but i am really tired and want to do something..

Is there anything we can do?
 
First thing I would do is: call CSC and find out whether my finger print record is there.

If the finger print is there (found with WAC instead of A#). I would ask my lawyer to fax an inquery.
 
What is your lawyer doing ?

Work with him.
It generally takes 6 months to complete the process.
1 year back it was predictable.
Your file,papers, finger prints, receipts, docs., applications, verifications, approvals, checks - something is missing in the giant
pool of papers. Act fast. Are you sleeping for so long ?

Move. Talk to IIOs, Visit Local INS offices, Try to find the blocked.

You should be proactive in this case without becoming over anxious.
 
The lawyer is a joke!

The lawyer sent a fax inquiry Three months back. Lawyer says he has not received the response.

I talked to IIO three months back with out getting much info.
Then my lawyer asked me not to talk to IIO.

I have been talking to my lawyer and paralegal atleast twice a month if not more.

My I-485 was filed under EB2 class action litigation case.
I will try to talk to IIO.
