Waiting for FP notice

VSC FP Delay

Pending 485 at VSC.

Originally my attorneys assistant sent insufficient FP fee.
Then corrected.

485 status after correct fee received.
RD - 03/31/03
ND - 04/23/03

status shows,
"On April 23, 2003, your fingerprint fee was accepted as complete, and processing of your case has resumed."

This was a concurrent filing and the I140 dates as follows.
140 RD - 04/07/03
ND - 08/18/03 (approval)
There was one RFE before aproval.

Please post if anybody received FP notice after 140 approval on 08/03.

AP, EAD received after 140 approval and spouse travelled also without a problem.
 
FP Notice in mail

Update on my case.

I have the FP Notice in mail. (VSC)

"On January 16, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. The notice also gave the times and location where this processing could be done."

I am keeping track of some EAC numbers close to mine. They all got the notice.

I 485
RD - 03/31/03
ND - 04/23/03
FP - 01/16/04

ND - 08/18/03 (approval)
There was one RFE before aproval.

Please post NY Finger Printing appointment experience. What should I expect?

Finger Printing - Texas

I filed my 485 & 140 concurrently at Texas in Oct 2002 , I140 approved recently.
Still await first FP notice. Anybody else in the same boat.

When do you think my case is likely to be adjudicated.
Please advise. thanks
 
Doing FP does not mean that I-485 will be processed soon. I have a friend who was asked to do FP one month after concurrently filing I-140 and I-485. However, he has been waiting for his I-140 approval for 15 months.
 
No FP notice yet

Hi,

My I-485 RD is July 15,2003 and was filed at Nebraska.I haven't received any finger print notification until now.Is there anyone whose RD is around those dates and have received FP notice?

I applied for I485 in Nebraska Center on March 30, 2003. Because we didn't get any receipt or anything and i couldn't get my driver's license we went and sat in the line for 2 hours. I got a really nice INS worker( which is really rare). He said they don't give any receipts. I requested EAD. He went and got my application and said that i could come to get my EAD the next Thursday. I was so psyched!!! I got my driver's license and everything was fine until now. My EAD is about to expire with the driver's license( cause they date it the same as EAD). I don't have any receipr from the INS and they refuse to give anyhting. Two days ago I got Fingerprints noticification( filed 03/30/03, got the FP notice on 03/13/04). I have no idea what to do about my EAD, cause i know how snow they are. And there're less than 90 days. What does Getting the FP notice mean: that they just got to your application or that they almost done with it? When am i supposed to expect an interview? Does anybody know?
