Kannan: It appears like you want to keep the number EB3 10/99 on the board as a fresh topic before it disappears into the older dates.....

Of Course Yes. I Posted it before but it is getting lost after 2 week. So we should keep it alive every 2 weeks. I am thinking of hosting a dynamic web site which includes all these details.

Also I like your name Chutney. Reminds me of South Indian favorite Dish

I am there.
PD :Mar/6/96
Category : EB3/India
RD : Oct/22/99
ND : Oct/27/99
FP : Not yet

Tired of waiting and seeing people filing after a year than us getting their finger printing done (nothing against those lucky people personally, it\'s the system that is so rotten, it\'s not even funny).

Has any Oct 99 filer has gotten FP notice recently. Please post details.

Thanks

I am one of those unlucky guys who are waiting for FP notice forever, though my PD is current. My RD is Oct.99.

So is a friend of mine. My friend’s RD is Nov.99. He called IIO last week. The IIO said that he should expect to receive his FP notice in 2-4 months, since his PD is current, and after that the final decision will be reached very soon.

My friend and I discussed his conversation with the IIO. Our speculation is that many of those Indians’ and Chinese’s files that have RD between Oct.99 and March.00, are filed by EB3 applicants whose PD are no longer current now. In order to use its resources most efficiently, INS stops sending FP to Indian and Chinese whose files fall in this range. INS knows that those people whose PD are not current probably need to wait for years to become current again, before their PD become current, they can do nothing about them. INS does not want those people to do FP more than once to waste its resources unnecessarily.

Unfortunately, for people like us whose PD are current have become victims under this circumstance. INS knows that too. However, they do not have enough manpower to sort though and separate the files that PD are current from those PD are not current. So they froze all of them. INS will begin to process and separate all those frozen files simultaneously once they finish Sep. cases. When they reach the files, if the PD are current, then they will send FP to those applicants, if PD are not current, then they will set those files aside and not to do anything.

If this is the way INS operates, we think people who have RD between Oct.99 and March.00 will get their final results very quickly after getting FP done.

The reason INS keeps sending FP to those people who filed after April.00 is that those people’s PD are current. PD has already been retrogressed in April 00, those people do not have this problem any more, if they do, they cannot file their I-485 in the first place. INS knows that too. Because they are sure that those files can be process within 15 months from the date FP is done.

Anybody has any different opinions? Any feedback is welcomed.

Yo-yo,

Your logic is convincing. I think you and your friend have really thought it through. My guess you are probably systems analyst or something similar. Your sound logic deserves applause.

Cheers!!

Good! here it is it comes back on the center court now!!!!!, yes that\'s the reason why I used my userid as chutney, because when i was registering I was eating lunch in my office and the chutney that my cook made that day was just remarkable and I did not have to think hard to find my username....
