hi,

I spoke to a nice immigration officer TSC.

Basically,

For child <= 5 years:

They just need a foto for card production.
Sometime they miss the foto which we atttached during our I485 application. So they will ask us to go for biometrics (fotos only). Otherwise they approve rightaway (if the primary is cleared).

For child > 5 years:
They need foto and FP as well. So they will send FP notice.
Also she said some IO officers approve without FP for child >5 years.

She also sent out FP notice for my 7 years old son .

Got FP notice for 7 years old son. Called TSC. Card will be ordered after FP is done.

When did you received the FP notice for your son.
In a SR response for my son they mentioned the biometrics for my son required though approval is done, so I took infopass and got the biomettics done on 8/25..still no update..Anybody in same situation?
