Waiting Asylum decision

Hi everyone,
I had interview in Los Angeles Tustin last week. The status changed to 'decision is pending' within 1.5 hours after the interview.

Does anyone have any insight on how fast they process decisions in general or for old cases from 2016? I was told to pick it up in two weeks but I am now not sure it will be ready by then..

yesterday USCIS returned my call and the lady said from there end everything is completed that they won’t need anything more from me that o should just wait for the decision that I should exercise patient and wait so as it stands I will just wait wishing everyone good-luck and Approval will keep the group updated if the good news come thanks everybody.

I think that this part "they won't need anything" is a positive sign.
Means that officer is satisfied with amount of evidence your case had.
At least this is what my lawyer said when I heard the same phrase from the officer.

I appreciate I will keep the group posted once I receive an update from them

Arlington applied early this year interviewed in May
There might questions the officer didn’t ask the supervisor wanna ask or the officer saw inconsistencies or credibility issues. Credibility issue isn’t something to be scared of, it’s just when the officer asses your case and want more information to give you refugee status according to the law he may wanna ask more. I advise you to go back to your evidences and check for any inconsistencies otherwise it’s likely to question you some credibility questions and good luck !

Thank you. Yes, I think they might need more information, as you said. I was consistent the whole time, and even my lawyer said this and I provided evidences that matched my statement

Hi guys, I got an update some hours ago that decision has been mailed, but I cannot find any letter in the document tab. Is the document tab update only for approvals?

I remember one of the older members here once said that the Chicago asylum office was the fastest when it came to giving decisions But from what I see now it looks like the Chicago office is actually one of the slowest in making decisions.
definitely not too fast. Interview Nov-24. Application is pending since then.
