Waiting after interview in Boston

My RD is 01/23/02.

I changed employer in Nov '02 and informed INS ( AC-21).

My case was transferred from VSC to Boston on 09/10/2003.I had my interview on 11/10/2003. At that time I just had my 2nd FP. So the officer said the results of background check results were not ready.I contacted local congressman's office in Apr'04. I was told an officer will be assigned.It's almost 2 months after that. Congrssman's office also told me not to contact them and they will inform me if anything happens.

Anyone in similar situation ?Please suggest if you think something I can do (pls remember already contacted congressman) ?

---the officer may be correct he may have not recieved the results from FBI
you can call FBI for fingerprinting status, provide your name DOB, and A#. you can contact FBI on 3046253878, 3046255590,3046252406, if they say it was cleared then visit the local office again and ask for update or write letter for update, attach copy of I-485 recept, your Name, DOB, A# and inform then that your interview was conducted on XYZ date and FBI says FP cleared on ABC date

I talked to a lady (304-625-5590). She told me FP results were received and sent back to INS on the same day and it was ok. She told me to contact FBI (020-324-2399) to find info regarding Name Check. I already knew the number and have been trying to leave a message for last 2 days but without any luck.The voice mailbox is full all the time.Should I send a fax to 202-324-3367 ? If yes, what should be content of the letter?
