Waiting 4 Approval & Calling parents while working on EAD!!

Anyone sponsored parents visa while on EAD ??(don't have H1 now)
What do you mention in your status on their D156 form(column 32)..??

I wrote working on EAD but fear that it may not be sufficient. Anyone undergone same experience please post.

Hi godlove

I happened to sponsor my parents using my EAD and H1 Visa. I have sent a copy of my EAD along with copy of H1 Visa form. My H1-Visa almost expired at the time I planned to call my parents.
I believe it will be perfectly OK and sufficient to call parents using EAD.
I do not remember what I have I filled in column 32 of D156 form.

I do sponsored my parents while on EAD. My status as AOS - Adjustment of Status. Sent the copy of the I485 Receipt and copy of the EAD as proof of your status.

Hope this helps you. My parents were here for the last six months and left in the last week of October '02
