Can anybody tell me what is a reasonable time after which I can expect the online message to change after FP?

Thank you

Wait times on online message after FP

Jamborees, Hi. I beg to differ. My wife and I were FPed on 3/25/2003 with ND of 11/19/2001. To date there is no online update. I confirmed separately through both FBI and TSC that our FP's were O.K and showing as received.
HENCE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTUION YOU HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG AS IT TAKES.
IF THIS IS ANY CONSOLATION FBI EMAILS THE FP DATA TO INS AT LEAST IN OUR CASE, I KNOW THIS BECAUSE INS RECEIVED THE FP DATA THE SAME DAY FBI SENT IT OUT. HENCE YOU SHOULD BE SAFE IF FBI SAYS EVERYTHING IS O.K.
If past experience on this forum is any good to predict the future, I am glad to see some ND 4/2001 approvals coming in. One hopes we will all be done by this year end.

I wouldn't completely trust the on-line status. My I-140 has gone through several different stages and the on-line display still says pending. I even pointed out this fact to IIO when I called several weeks ago (and found out at that time that there had been RFE's, evidence receipts etc.). She said "Well, I don't know who maintains that site so I don't know what to tell you". With the shutdown of the local BCIS number, I feel like I'm flying blind at this point. (Since the 800 number is useless)

Just take everything that you read or hear with a grain of salt. I won't completely believe anything until I have that card in my hand.

same here...

my I-140 was approved some 15 days back (my lawyer has received the approval notice and sent me a copy), but my online status still (even today) says "received".

Just to share my experience:
My online message changed 8 days after FP was done. My spouse's has not changed yet although FP was done the same day as mine.

FP has been done (me and my husband) on May 22nd, 2003, online message changed to ” On June 11, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.” as seen from massage on June 11th.
