Wait till it really rains !

hehe.. great idea bumble bee...

Question guys (and gals):
Yesterday, I was making a I-765 scanner using the same idea as Silly Man's I-485 scanner. Yesterday I must have went through thousands of receipts number and everything worked fine. Today, after like 20 receipt number I started getting an error message of too many inquiries: "You have been denied access due to too many inquiries".

What I need to know is how many hits is necessary to cause this message?

Second question: When will the system reset my status.. on its webpage it said I would be "prohibited from accessing the system for an unspecified timeframe." And knowing INS THAT IS VERY VERY SCARY timeframe, (is there a chance my system would get reset in a couple of decades?)

Third Question: I know online case status is not checking excess hits by cookies because I already tried deleting them. Am I right to guess they use the IP address to track users? Unfortunately changing IP's even for my DCHP takes some time :(

Well for whoever needs to know: INS is currently approving cases of I-765 (EAD) around wac-02-270.. My case is wac-02-280-51***. And the received date is 9/13/02. Thanks for your time.

Simfox, good effort, don't worry about that. Thing is, they put this on there when the site load goes high, so if I go check my status manually as a bonafide user, i still get that message.

I was never able to check the whole 50000 - 59999 range before getting the "denied" message. I think after around 1000 hits it shuts me out, but then it usually seems to reset in 24 hours. How many apps do these guys receive in 1 day ??? Not 9999, eh?
