Wage to low, are there problems?

Hello everyone,

I am a Mexican citizen, and I will be traveling to Mexico to change my status from OPT to TN.

I know that there is no minimum wage to apply to a TN status, but the company that I am working with is currently paying me only 60 percent of the average Electrical Engineering salary.

Do you know if there could be any problem with this?
Have ever a TN status been rejected due to salary constraints?
How should I manage the situation?

There is no prevailing wage requirement for TN Visas.

You should be able to change status without going to Mexico.
