Hi Guys, :D
CSC approved I-485s for both my wife and I.
The following are the details:
ND: JUL/2002
1ST FP: OCT/2002
LUD: MAR/2003
then, INS sleeped for 1.5 years.
Suddenly, CSC speeded up I-485 processing.
From Aug/2004, JIT passed my ND.

AUG/17 EMAIL CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov
FAX CSC
call national center
SEP/14 LUD, no status changes
SEP/20 FAX to local congressman Christopher Cox
OCT/02 got my wife's 2nd FP notice
OCT/04 got my 2nd FP notice
OCT/05 finish 2nd FP
OCT/11 LUD, no status changes, I guess CSC got FP results
OCT/15 email CSC again
OCT/20 got approval emails; made infopass appointments
OCT/22 got courtesy copies of approval notices at home
the attorney got the originals
we will do the PP stamping in the next week.

Tips:
if JIT passed your ND, don't wait. Send emails, faxes and
contacted your local congressman and senator. In all the messages,
be very polite and humble, no whining, no complaining, just list
solid facts and specific issues. Only ask for one thing in each
message. If you need 2nd FP notice, just ask for it, don't
mention you also want the approval. Do it step by step.

I got many valuable info from this forum. I would like to thank
everyone. I wish you good luck on your immigration process.

Have a good Halloween! :D

Congratulations !!!! My LUD got stuck in mar 2003 for quite a while too, just like your. Glad to see you got your freedom.

Congrats! Enjoy ur freedom. BTW, could u pls tell us some details...

Hi, crane,
Firstly pls accept my sincere congratulations for your freedom. You r finally out of the dark tunnel while many of us r still wandering inside.
Well, could u pls do us a favor by attaching one example of ur enquiry letter to ur local congressman or senator. I never had any experience in contacting the congressman/senator. I really want to know how to make the enquiry succinct and efficient and meantime avoid my letter to be a complaint letter. Thank u very much in advance for your help and finally congratulations to ur family again.

May God bless everyone here.

Hi,
The answers to kulfi and peaceinheart:

1. kulfi
send email to CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov, don't use the email
@doj.gov, they are old ones.
2.peaceinheart
Typically, on congressmen's and senators' websites, you can find
a "constituent service" section. In it, you can find a fax form. Fill in all
your personal information, then the description of problem:
My wife and I applied for green card in Jul/2002. Now, the Immigration Services are processing the cases of May/2003. We are really old cases.
Our first finger print expired 6 months ago. We still did not receive our second finger prints yet. Would you please help me to send an inquiry to Immigration Services to ask them send the second finger print notices to us?
Thanks a lot!
