WAC number not in USCIS online system

Hi All

I wanted to k now if anyone has encountered this before. My lawyers sent me my wife's new Advance Parole application's WAC number. However, for the past 10 days, I've been trying daily to find info on the case, but am getting an error stating that the case number is invalid.

Has anyone seen a similar error ?

yes, it happened to me too

The CSC web has been like this for really long time. It took about 3 months and 2 email inqueries to get all my cases posted.

What does NIW stand for in "NIW@CSC" ?

BTW,
My I-140 RD is last week of May and I still cannot file the case online or on the phone.

FYI,
My lawyer gave some usefule info this morning..
"We have received your I-140 receipt and we do have the receipt number. I also have email confirmation from the adjudicating officer that they have received your case. The receipt number from the receipt and from the email are the same. The application has to be in their system because the system generates the receipt notice and the adjudicating officer looked up your case through their system.They are still having problems with the website. Apparently some people have been able to access their information while others can not. I apologize for this inconvenience. It should be alleviated soon. Thank you for your patience!"

So all those unfortunates (including thyself!) if you have'nt been able to access your I-140 status online for no reason at all while people all around you have been, worry not no more... for USCIS IT is to blame.
 
Some people posted here that FBI and USCIS recently
implemnted new database which could be the reasons.

As shown in my signature, my I-140 case is not online yet.
Some people said their cases were never online
until they were approved !

Could you give us info on where to contact the USCIS for such problems ? There is no option on the phone menu that will transfer you to a service agent.

No clue!
I have been trying to call them @ 800-375-5283 then following options:
1>2>6>2>1 but anytime I call the AVM says that the wait time is more than 30 mins and hangs up!

I dont know where my lawyer got that info from. The lawyers are not very forthcoming with such info, lest we no longer need them!!

Let me know if you ever get through to a human @ USCIS.
 
I file I-140 and I-485 CSC,
RD:07/05/2005 ND:07/20/2005
My I-140 and My and family I-485(5 applications)
NOT ONLINE OR TELEPHONE.
 
You need to contact USCIS to put your case on-line

I had similar experience, as I filed I-485 with RD in 5/05,
one month later I received my AP approvals.

But untill last week my on-line status was still not there.
Each time I input the WAC# I got bounced back saying no such number or case found in their system.

Then last week I sent the e-mail to the address asking for 485 case status @CSC.(I forgot the e-mail but it is everywhere in this forum.)

I only put one line asking for put my case on-line instead of bothering them regularly.

Then 2 days later my case is on-line :)

You need to contact them if 2 months have passed.
 
I called up the NSC and they transferred me to an officer that sent out a request to the CSC asking them to put my case into the system. This was done almost a week back but I still don't see anything online :(
